*TEAM SPIRIT*

A business man gets stranded in a lonely highway in the US. The tyres of his car get stuck badly in a mud pool. He looks around for help and finally finds an old farmer. This businessman goes to him asking for help to get his car out of the mud.
Farmer gauges the situation, and agrees to help him and says, let us take the help of warwick. Warwick was an old bull around, but the helpless business man agrees.

The farmer ties the bull to the car and start shouting loudly,’ FRED, PULL!.. JACK, PULL!.. JOHN, PULL... WARWICK, PULL’. As the farmer keeps shouting these words, the bull Warwick gets the car out of the pool of mud.
Businessman is relieved but has a doubt in his mind. He thanks the farmer and asks him,’ you said the bull’s name was Warwick, and he was alone, then who were these Fred, Jack & John?’
Farmer coolly answered, "See, Warwick is old and is also blind. He does not know he is pulling this car alone. The moment he hears the other names, he thinks he is in a team, and he gives his best".

*MORAL*:  So is the case with all of us. The very thought that there are people to help us blesses us with a great deal of comfort, hope, confidence and enthuses us to put our heart and soul into any task that we undertake.

Indeed, greatest civilizations have always been built on the foundations of a greater level of cooperation from their citizens, and the smartest animals we know — apes, elephants, wolves, dolphins, and crows — tend to live together in cooperative groups and work together for survival.

As H.E.Luccock said,
“No one can whistle a symphony. It takes an orchestra to play it.”

It's not without reason that the very word *TEAM* is said to stand for *"Together  Everyone Achieves More"*.

You Won

Biology says that after sexual intercourse, about 200-300 million sperms are deposited by the man, they all begin to swim upwards within the tract to meet with the ovum. Of the over 200 million that are deposited, only 300-500 actually reach the site (others get tired on the way because it is no small race).

And of the 300 that manage to reach the egg only one fertilises the egg, and in this case the winning one was YOU...!!!
Have you ever thought about this? You ran a race without your eyes and you won, you ran without a certificate and you won, you ran without a thumb print and you won, you ran without an education and you won , you ran without help...and you won.

What makes you think that you will lose now? Now that you have eyes, ears, hands and legs, now that you have a certificate, now that you have a plan, a dream and a vision...

You didn't give up on day one, you can't give up now, giving up now is an insult to your creator.
It doesn't matter what you see now, always remember that you WON from the womb.

Perception Matters

What a wonderful post. It changed my *perception on perception•

Sharing! .... Do read

A teacher teaching Maths to a six-year-old asked him, “If I give you one apple and one apple & one apple, how many apples will you have?”

With a few seconds the boy replied confidently, “Four!”

The dismayed teacher was expecting an effortless correct answer (three).

She was disappointed. “May be the child did not listen properly,” she thought.

She repeated, “pls listen carefully.

It is very simple. You will be able to do it right if you listen carefully.

If I give you one apple and one apple and one apple, how many apples will you have?”

The boy had seen the disappointment on his teacher’s face.

He calculated again on his fingers.

But within him he was also searching for the answer that will make his teacher happy.

This time hesitatingly he replied, “Four...”

The disappointment stayed on teacher’s face.

She remembered that the boy loves strawberries.

She thought maybe he doesn’t like apples and that is making him lose focus.

This time with exaggerated excitement & twinkling eyes she asked ...

“If I give you one strawberry & one strawberry & one strawberry, then how many will you have?”

Seeing the teacher happy, the young boy calculated on his fingers again.

There was no pressure on him, but a little on the teacher.

She wanted her new approach to succeed.

With a hesitating smile, the young boy replied, “Three?”

The teacher now had a victorious smile. Her approach had succeeded.

She wanted to congratulate herself.

But one last thing remained.

Once again she asked him, “Now if I give you one apple and one apple and one more apple how many will you have?”

Promptly the answer was “Four!”

The teacher was aghast.

“How.... tell me, How?” she demanded in a little stern and irritated voice.

In a voice that was low and hesitating young boy replied, “Because I already have one apple in my bag.”

Lessons to Learn: When someone gives you an answer that is different from what you are expecting, it is not necessarily they are wrong.

There may be an angle that we may not have understood at all.

We need to learn to appreciate and understand different perspectives.

Quite often, we try and impose our perspectives on others and then wonder what went wrong.

The next time someone gives you a different perspective than yours, sit down and gently ask " can you please help me understand"?......

Nothing is....

In 1892 at _Stanford University_ , an 18-year-old student was struggling to pay his fees. He was an orphan, and not knowing where to turn for money, he came up with a bright idea. He and a friend decided to host a musical concert on campus to raise money for their education.

They reached out to the great pianist *Ignacy J. Paderewski*. His manager demanded a guaranteed fee of $2000 for the piano recital. A deal was struck and the boys began to work to make the concert a success.
The big day arrived. But unfortunately, they had not managed to sell enough tickets. The total collection was only $1600. Disappointed, they went to *Paderewski* and explained their plight. They gave him the entire $1600, plus a cheque for the balance $400. They promised to honour the cheque at the soonest possible.

“No,” said *Paderewski*. “This is not acceptable.” He tore up the cheque, returned the $1600 and told the two boys: “Here’s the $1600. Please deduct whatever expenses you have incurred. Keep the money you need for your fees. And just give me whatever is left”. The boys were surprised, and thanked him profusely.
It was a small act of kindness. But it clearly marked out *Paderewski* as a great human being.
Why should he help two people he did not even know? We all come across situations like these in our lives. And most of us only think “If I help them, what would happen to me?” The truly great people think, “If I don’t help them, what will happen to them?” They don’t do it expecting something in return. They do it because they feel it’s the right thing to do.

*Paderewski* later went on to become the *Prime Minister of Poland*. He was a great leader, but unfortunately when the *World War* began, *Poland* was ravaged. There were more than _1.5 million people starving in his country, and no money to feed them_ . *Paderewski* did not know where to turn for help. He reached out to the *US Food and Relief Administration* for help.
He heard there was a man called *Herbert Hoover* — who later went on to become the *US President*. *Hoover* agreed to help and quickly shipped tons of food grains to feed the starving *Polish* people.
_A calamity was averted_. *Paderewski* was relieved.

He decided to go across to meet *Hoover* and personally thank him. When *Paderewski* began to thank *Hoover* for his _noble gesture_ *Hoover* quickly interjected and said, " *You shouldn’t be thanking me Mr. Prime Minister. You may not remember this, but several years ago, you helped two young students go through college. I was one of them* .”

_The world is a wonderful place. What goes around comes around. Please help others to the best of your ability. In the long run you may be helping yourself. God never forgets anyone who sows a good seed in other people, never_ .

*Nothing in nature lives for itself. Rivers don't drink their own water. Trees don't eat their own fruit. Sun doesn't give heat for itself. Flowers don't spread fragrance for themselves. Living for others is the rule of nature. And therein lies the secret of living* .

If you find this useful please pass it on.

Story shared by boss.

There was a large pond in which some violent crocodiles were living. The king's soldiers could not catch crocodiles in the muddy waters. The king decided to get the pond water dried to catch the crocodiles. But at the same time it was decided to fill the pond with clean water so that small fishes in the pond should not die.
As soon as the water was drained, the amphibian crocodile ran into the woods. But poor little fish were found squirming and groaning in anguish in the absence of water.
The king's soldiers explained to the fish that this step was necessary to catch the violent crocodile, and so have patience for a few days as clean water is coming.
Now the question is,
Whether the fish will survive till the clean water comes?
Who else will feast on dying fishes?
Whether the King’s soldiers will be able to catch crocodile?
Whether pond would be barricaded so that after replenishing with clean water crocodiles do not return to pond and sacrifice of small fishes is also not futile?
Whether king should have taken preparatory steps for sufficient clean water before undertaking this public-friendly measure?
The story ahead is live on all news channels, keep watching .....

Beautiful message explaining how Happiness is a State of Mind. All of us should try to develop such attitude

A man of 92 years, short, very well-presented, who takes great care in his appearance, is moving into an old people's home today.

After waiting several hours in the retirement home lobby, he gently smiles as he is told that his room is ready.

His wife of 80 has recently died, and he is obliged to leave his home.

As he slowly walks to the elevator, using his cane, I describe his small room to him, including the sheet hung at the window which serves as a curtain.

"I like it very much", he says, with the enthusiasm of an 8 year old boy who has just been given a new puppy.

" You haven't even seen the room yet, hang on a moment, we are almost there. "

" That has nothing to do with it ", he replies.

" It is already decided in my mind that I like my room. It is a decision I take every morning when I wake up. "

" Happiness is something I choose in advance. Whether or not I like the room does not depend on the furniture, or the decor rather it depends on how I decide to see it. "

"I can choose. I can spend my day in bed enumerating all the difficulties that I have with the parts of my body that no longer work very well, or I can get up and give thanks to heaven for those parts that are still in working order. "

"Every day is a gift, and as long as I can open my eyes, I will focus on the new day, and all the happy memories that I have built up during my life. "

"Old age is like a bank account. You withdraw in later life what you have deposited along the way. "

So, my advice to you is to deposit all the happiness you can in your bank account of memories.

Thank you for your part in filling my account with happy memories, which I am still continuing to fill.

Remember these simple guidelines for happiness.

1. Free your heart from hate.
2. Free your mind from worry.
3. Live simple.
4. Give more.
5. Expect less.

If you have been blessed by this message, send it to your loved ones and your friends. It is the way we touch each other with simple truths that spread goodness in the world. Who knows, a miracle may happen as a result.

Have a Blessed Day. Every day is a Bonus.

If karma works why are so many corrupt people successful ?

Once a king ordered his three ministers to take a bag and go to the forest and fill up the bag with fruits.
The first minister thought that since the king has ordered for collection of fruits, he must collect the best of the fruits in the bag.
The second minister thought that since the king is a very busy person, he may not look very thoroughly into the bag what has been collected and hence he collected whatever he could lay his hands. Thus his bag was filled up with a mixture of good and rotten fruits.
The third minister thought that the king would see only externally how big the bag is and hence he just filled up the bag with all dried leaves and dust.
All the three ministers came back to the court with their respective bags, having executed the order of collecting the fruits.
The King, without even seeing what their bags contained, just ordered that now the three ministers must be sent to separate jails for three months, where they will not be provided with any food and they were only allowed to carry the respective bags wherein they had collected the fruits.
The first minister could spend the three months in the jail by eating the very nice fruits he had collected.
The second one could survive for some time with the good fruits in the bag and later he developed diseases by eating the rotten fruits he had collected.
The Third minister had nothing to eat and hence could not survive.
Moral of the story:
From the above story we understand that we have to undergo the consequences of our own activities.
“You will be suffering your own reactions after your karmas, any single karma you perform, you have to suffer for it. Good and bad, everything, you have to have this reaction. No doubt about it.
In Mahabharata, Anushasana Parva, it is said
yathaa dhenu sahasreshu / vatso gachhati maataram
yat ca krtam karma / kartaaram api gachhati
“Amongst thousands of cows, the calf finds its own mother cow. Similarly the results of our past karma (deeds) when fully ripened, will find us without fail.”

A WEDDING GIFT

She married him today. At the end of the wedding
party, her mother gave her a newly opened bank
savings passbook, with $1000 deposited in it.

She told her, "My dear daughter, take this passbook. Keep it as a record of your married life. Whenever something
happy and memorable happens in your new life, put
some money in. Write down what it's about next to the
amount. The more memorable the event is, the more money you can put in. I've done the first one for you today. Do the others with your husband. When you look back after many years, you will know how much happiness you've both shared.'

She shared this with
him after getting home. Both of them thought it was a
great idea and couldn't wait to make the next deposit!
This is what the passbook looked like after a while: -
7Feb: $100, his first birthday celebration after marriage
1 Mar: $300, she gets a salary raise
20 Mar: $200, vacation
15 Apr: $2000, She's pregnant!
1 Jun: $1000, He gets the big promotion and so on...

However, as the years went by, they began fighting
and arguing over trivial things. They didn't talk much.

They regretted that they had married the most nasty
person in the world. There was no more love.

One day she talked to her Mother. 'Mom, we can't stand it anymore. We have decided to divorce. I can't imagine how I decided to marry this guy!'

Her mother replied, 'Sure, that's no big deal. Just do whatever you want, if
you really can't stand it.

But before that, do one thing remember the savings passbook I gave you on your
wedding day? Take out all money and spend it first.
You shouldn't keep any record of such a poor
marriage.'

She agreed with her mother. So she went to the bank, and was waiting in the queue to cancel the account.

While she was waiting, she took a look at the passbook record. She looked, and looked, and looked. Then the memory of all the previous joyful moments came back to her. Her eyes were filled with tears.

She left and went home. When she got home, she handed the passbook to her hubby and asked him to spend the money before getting divorced.

So the next day, he went to the bank, and was waiting in the queue to cancel the account. While he was waiting, he took a look at the passbook record. He looked, and looked, and looked. Then the memory of all the previous joyful moments came back to him. His eyes were filled with tears.

He left and went home. He gave the passbook back to her. She found a new deposit of $5000. And a line next to the record: 'This is the day I realized how much I've loved you throughout all these years. How much happiness you've brought me.' They hugged and cried, putting the passbook back into the safe.

Marriage is not a game, it's not easy but it's beautiful. You will fight and argue, this is normal, because the both of you came from different
background, different homes and you both were raised by
different parents, beliefs and moral. So you cannot expect that everything you say will be accepted by your spouse without their opinion being tendered first. So before you give up, think back to the good times and to what brought you together in the first place.

Dedicated to all married Couple.

Happy Improvement story of Taj

The Taj hotel group had invited Mr. Masai Imai from Japan to hold a workshop for its staff. The staff were very skeptical- the hotel is doing excellent business, this person from Japan has no exposure to hotel industry- what exactly is he going to teach?
But everybody as planned gathered for the workshop in the conference hall sharp at 9 am. Masai san was introduced to them- a not so impressive personality, nor the English all that good; spoke as if he was first formulating each sentence in Japanese and then translating it into rather clumsy English.
"Good morning! Let's start work. I am told this is a workshop; but I see neither work nor shop. So let's proceed where work is happening.
Let's start with the first room on the first floor." Masai san, followed by the senior management, the participants, the video camera crew trouped out of the conference room and proceeded to the destination. That happened to be the laundry room of the hotel. Mr. Masai entered the room and stood at the window, "beautiful view!" he said. The staff knew it; they need not invite a Japanese consultant to tell them this!
"A room with such a beautiful view is being wasted as a laundry room.
Shift the laundry to the basement and convert this into a guest room."
Aa Haa! now nobody had ever thought about that! The manager said, "Yes, it can be done."
"Then let's do it.", Masai san said.
"Yes sir, I will make a note of this and we will include it in the report on the workshop that will be prepared." Manager
"Excuse me, but there is nothing to note down in this. Let's just do it, just now." Mr. Masai.
"Just now?" Manager
"Yes, decide on a room on the ground floor/basement and shift the stuff out of this room right away. It should take a couple of hours, right?" Mr. Masai.
"Yes." Manager.
"Let's come back here just before lunch. By then all this stuff will have got shifted out and the room must be ready with the carpets, furniture etc and from today you can start earning the few thousand that you charge your customers for a room night."
"Ok, Sir." The manager had no option.
The next destination was the pantry. The group entered. At the entrance were two huge sinks full of plates to be washed. Mr. Masai removed his jacket and started washing the plates.
"Sir, Please, what are you doing?" the manager didn't know what to say and what to do.
"Why, I am washing the plates", Masai san.
"But sir, there is staff here to do that." Manager Mr. Masai continued washing, "I think sink is for washing plates, there are stands here to keep the plates and the plates should go into the stands."
All the officials wondered - did they require a consultant to tell them this?
After finishing the job, Mr. Masai asked, "how many plates do you have?'
"Plenty, so that there should never be any shortage." Manager.
Masai san said, "We have a word in Japanese-'Muda'. Muda means delay, muda means unnecessary spending. One lesson to be learned in this workshop is to avoid both. If you have plenty of plates, there will be delay in cleaning them up. The first step to correct this situation is to remove all the excess plates."
"Yes, we will say this in the report." Manager.
"No, wasting our time in writing the report is again an instance of 'muda'. We must pack the extra plates in a box right away and send these to whichever other section of Taj require these. Throughout the workshop now we will find out where all we find this 'muda' hidden."
And then at every spot and session, the staff eagerly awaited to find out muda and learn how to avoid it.
On the last day, Masai san told a story.
"A Japanese and an American, both fond of hunting, entered a jungle with guns. In the pursuit of game they entered deep jungle and suddenly realized that they had run out of bullets. Just then they heard a lion roaring. Both started running. But the Japanese took a short break to put on his sports shoes. The American said, "What are you doing? We must first get to the car."
The Japanese said, "No. I only have to ensure that I remain ahead of you." All the participants engrossed in listening to the story, realized suddenly that the lion would stop after getting his victim!
"The lesson is competition in today's world is so fierce, that it is important to stay ahead of other even by just a couple of steps. And you have such a huge and naturally well endowed country. If you remember to curtail your production expenditure and give the best quality always, you will be miles ahead as compared to so many other countries in the world.", Masai san.

The story of watermelons by Manohar Parrikar

"I am from the village of Parra in Goa, hence we are called Parrikars. My village is famous for its watermelons. When I was a child, the farmers would organise a watermelon-eating contest at the end of the harvest season in May. All the kids would be invited to eat as many watermelons as they wanted. Years later, I went to IIT Mumbai to study engineering. I went back to my village after 6.5 years. I went to the market looking for watermelons. They were all gone. The ones that were there were so small. I went to see the farmer who hosted the watermelon-eating contest. His son had taken over. He would host the contest but there was a difference. When the older farmer gave us watermelons to eat he would ask us to spit out the seeds into a bowl. We were told not to bite into the seeds. He was collecting the seeds for his next crop. We were unpaid child labourers, actually. He kept his best watermelons for the contest and he got the best seeds which would yield even bigger watermelons the next year. His son, when he took over, realised that the larger watermelons would fetch more money in the market so he sold the larger ones and kept the smaller ones for the contest. The next year, the watermelons were smaller, the year later even small. In watermelons the generation is one year. In seven years, Parra's best watermelons were finished. In humans, generations change after 25 years. It will take us 200 years to figure what we were doing wrong while educating our children."

Story of a Man

A man who has gone out of his town comes back and finds that his house is on fire.

It was one of the most beautiful houses in the town, and the man loved the house the most! Many were ready to give double price for the house, but he had never agreed for any price and now it is just burning before his eyes.

And thousands of people have gathered, but nothing can be done, the fire has spread so far that even if you try to put it out, nothing will be saved. So he becomes very sad.

His son comes running and whispers something in his ear:

"Don't be worried. I sold it yesterday and at a very good price ― three times.

The offer was so good I could not wait for you. Forgive me."

Father said, "thank God, it's not ours now!" Then the father is relaxed and became a silent watcher, just like 1000s of other watchers.

Please think about it!

Just a moment before he was not a watcher, he was attached.

It is the same house....the same fire.... everything is the same...but now he is not concerned.
In fact started enjoying it just as everybody else in the crowd.

Then the second son comes running, and he says to the father, "What are you doing? You are smiling ― and the house is on fire?" The father said, "Don't you know, your brother has sold it."

He said, "We have taken only advance amount, not settled fully. I doubt now that the man is going to purchase it now."

Again, everything changes!!

Tears which had disappeared, have come back to the father's eyes, his smile is no more there, his heart is beating fast. The 'watcher' is gone. He is again attached.

And then the third son comes, and he says, "That man is a man of his word. I have just come from him. He said, 'It doesn't matter whether the house is burnt or not, it is mine. And I am going to pay the price that I have settled for. Neither you knew, nor I knew that the house would catch on fire.'"

Again the joy is back and family became 'watchers'! The attachment is no more there.

Actually nothing is changing!

Just the feeling that "I am the owner! I am not the owner of the house!" makes the whole difference.

Amitabh Bachchan writes a heartfelt letter to granddaughters – Navya and Aaradhya

My very dearest Navya & Aaradhya

You both carry a very valuable legacy on your tender shoulders – Aaradhya, the legacy of your Par Dadaji, Dr Harivansh Rai Bachchan…and Navya, the legacy of your Par Dada , Shri H P Nanda….

Both your Par Dadajis’ gave your present surnames celebrated fame, dignity and recognition!

Both of you maybe a Nanda or a Bachchan, but you are also girls…women!

And because you are women people will force their thinking, their boundaries on you.

They will tell you how to dress, how to behave, who you can meet and where you can go.

Don’t live in the shadows of people’s judgement. Make your own choices in the light of your own wisdom.

Don’t let anyone make you believe that the length of your skirt is a measure of your character.

Don’t let anyone’s opinion of who you should be friends with, dictate who you will be friends with.

Don’t get married for any other reason other than you want to get married.

People will talk. They shall say some terrible things. But that doesn’t mean you have to listen to everyone. Never ever worry about – Log Kya Kahenge !

At the end of the day, you are the only one who will face the consequences of your actions, so don’t let other people make your decisions for you.

Navya – the privilege your name, your surname offers you, will not protect you from the difficulties you will face because you’re a woman.

Aaradhya – by the time you see and understand this, I may well not be around. But I think what I am saying today shall still be relevant.

This may be a difficult, difficult world to be a woman. But I believe that it is women like you that will change that.

It may not be easy, setting your own boundaries, making your own choices, rising above people’s judgement. But YOU !…you can set an example for women everywhere.

Do this and you would have done more than I have ever done, and it will be my honor to be known not as Amitabh Bachchan, but as your grandfather !!

With all my love

Your ….Dadaji ….your Nana

How a Password Changed my Life...
A true story from the Reader’s Digest...

I was having a great morning until I sat down in front of my office computer. “your password has expired”, a server message flashed on my screen, with instructions for changing it...
In my company we have to change password monthly..
I was deeply depressed after my recent divorce. Disbelief over what she had done to me was what I thought all day.
I remembered a tip I’d heard from my former boss.
He’d said, “I’m going to use a password that is going to change my life”. I couldn’t focus on getting things done in my current mood.. My password reminded me that I shouldn’t let myself be a victim of my recent breakup and that I was strong enough to do something about it.

I made my password – Forgive@her. I had to type this password several times every day, each time my computer would lock. Each time I came back from lunch I wrote forgive her.
The simple action changed the way I looked at my ex-wife.. That constant reminder of reconciliation led me to accept the way things happened and helped me deal with my depression..
By the time the server prompted me to change my password following month, I felt free.

The next time I had to change my password I thought about the next thing that I had to get done. My password became Quit@smoking4ever .
It motivated me to follow my goal and I was able to quit smoking.

One month later, my password became Save4trip@europe, and in three months I was able to visit Europe.

Reminders helped me materialize my goals kept me motivated and excited.
It's sometimes difficult to come up with your next goal, keeping at it brings great results.

After a few months my password was
lifeis@beautiful !!!

Life is going to change again 👌👌.

Good can be done at any point

People ask me why do good when all we receive is bad.. Here is the answer?

A 6 yr old boy was in the market with his 4 yr old sister........Suddenly the boy found that his sister was lagging behind.

He stopped and looked back. His sister was standing in front of a toy shop and was watching something with great interest.

The boy went back to her and asked,"Do you want something ?" The sister pointed at the doll.
The boy held her hand and like a responsible elder brother, gave that doll to her.The sister was very very happy...

The shopkeeper was watching everything and getting amused to see the matured behaviour of the boy...

Now the boy came to the counter and asked the shopkeeper,

"What is the cost of this doll, Sir !"

The shopkeeper was a cool man and had experienced the odds of life. So he asked the boy with a lot of love n affection,"

Well, What can you pay ?"

The boy took out all the shells that he had collected from sea shore, from his pocket and gave them to the shopkeeper. The shopkeeper took the shells and started counting as if he were counting the currency. Then he looked at the boy.The boy asked him worriedly,"Is it less ?

" The shopkeeper said," No,No...

These are more than the cost. So I will return the remaining." Saying so,he kept only 4 shells with him and returned the remaining.
The boy, very happily kept those shells back in his pocket and went away with his sister...

A servant in that shop got very surprised watching all these. He asked his master," Sir ! You gave away such a costly doll just for 4 shells ???

"The shopkeeper said with a smile," Well, For us these are mere shells.
But for that boy, these shells are very precious. And at this age he does not understand what money is, but when he will grow up, he definitely will.
And when he would remember that he purchased a doll with the Shells instead of Money, he will remember Me and think that world is full of Good people.

It will help him develop a positive attitude and he too in turn will feel motivated to be Good !

Mind Mantra - Whatever emotion you infuse into the world, it will further spread. If you do good, goodness will spread. If you do bad, negativity will spread.
Realize you are a very powerful source of energy.
Your good or bad will come back to you magnified. Not in the ways you want it, and probably not in the ways you can imagine or understand it. But it will come back.

Ego is Criminal where Love becomes Victim

*Beautiful Story of feelings*

Once there was an island where all the feelings lived together. One day there came a storm in the sea and the island was about to drown .Every feeling was scared but Love made a boat to escape. All the feelings jumped in the boat except for one feeling. Love got down to see who it was...it was Ego! Love tried & tried but Ego didn't move. Everyone asked Love to leave Ego & come in the boat but Love was meant to Love. It remained with Ego. All other feelings were left alive but     *Love died because of Ego*

Think over it..

May luck be your side!!! ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป

*Why some people have all the Luck ?*

By Professor Richard  Wiseman, University of Hertfordshire.

Why do some people get all the luck while others never get the breaks they deserve?
A psychologist says he has discovered the answer.

Ten years ago, I set out to examine luck. I wanted to know why some people are always in the right place at the right time, while others consistently experience ill fortune. I placed advertisements in national newspapers asking for people who felt consistently lucky or unlucky to contact me.

Hundreds of extraordinary men & women volunteered for my research & over the years, I have interviewed them, monitored their lives & had
them take part in experiments.

I carried out a simple experiment to discover whether this was due to differences in their ability to spot such opportunities. I gave both lucky and unlucky people a newspaper, and asked them to look through it & tell me how many photographs were inside. I had secretly placed a large message halfway through the newspaper saying : "Tell the experimenter you have seen this and win $50."

This message took up half of the page & was written in type that was more than two inches high. It was staring everyone straight in the face, but the unlucky people tended to miss it & the lucky people tended to spot it.

Unlucky people are generally more tense than lucky people, and this anxiety disrupts their ability to notice the unexpected.
As a result, they miss opportunities because they are too focused on looking for something else. They go to parties'; intent on finding their perfect partner & so miss opportunities to make good friends.
They look through newspapers determined to find certain types of job advertisements & miss other types of jobs.

Lucky people are more relaxed & open, and therefore see what is there rather than just what they are looking for. My research eventually revealed that lucky people generate good fortune via four principles. They are skilled at creating & noticing chance opportunities, make lucky decisions by listening to their intuition, create self-fulfilling prophesies via positive expectations, and adopt a resilient attitude that transforms bad luck into good.

Here are Professor Wiseman's four top tips for becoming lucky:
1) Listen to your gut instincts - they are normally right
2) Be open to new experiences and breaking Ur normal routine
3) Spend a few moments each day remembering things that went well
4) Visualize Urself being lucky before an important meeting or telephone call.
Have a Lucky day and work for it...

"The happiest people in the world are not those who have no problems, but those who learn to live with things that are less than perfect."

" There is a great difference  between "worry"  &  "concern",
A worried person only sees the problem & a concerned person solves the problem..!

Mr. Tom Smith...

*Just too good*👇

```At the point of death, a man, Tom Smith, called his children and he advised them to follow his footsteps so that they can have peace of mind in all that they do..
His daughter, Sara, said,
"Daddy, its unfortunate you are dying without a penny in your bank..
Other fathers' that you tag as being corrupt, thieves of public funds left houses and properties for their children; even this house we live in is a rented apartment..
Sorry, I can't emulate you, just go, let's chart our own course..
Few moments later, their father gave up the spirit..
Three years later, Sara went for an interview in a multinational company..
At interview the Chairman of the committee asked,
"Which Smith are you..??"
Sara replied,
"I am Sara Smith. My Dad Tom Smith is now late.."
Chairman cuts in,
"O my God, you are Tom Smith's daughter..?"
He turned to the  other members and said,
"This Smith man was the one that signed my membership form into the Institute of Administrators and his recommendation earned me where I am today. He did all these free. I didn't even know his address, he never knew me. He just did it for me.."
He turned to Sara,
"I have no questions for you, consider yourself as having gotten this job, come tomorrow, your letter will be waiting for you.."
Sara Smith became the Corporate Affairs Manager of the company with two Cars with Drivers, A duplex attached to the office, and a salary of £1,00,000 per month excluding allowances and other costs..
After two years of working in the company, the MD of the company came from America to announce his intention to resign and needed a replacement. A personality with high integrity was sought after, again the company's Consultant nominated Sara Smith..
In an interview, she was asked the secret of her success,,
With tears, she replied, "My Daddy paved these ways for me. It was after he died that I knew that he was financially poor but stinkingly rich in integrity, discipline and honesty".
She was asked again, why she is weeping since she is no longer a kid as to miss her dad still after a long time..
She replied, "At the point of death, I insulted my dad for being an honest man of integrity. I hope he will forgive me in his grave now. I didn't work for all these, he did it for me to just walk in".
So, finally she was asked, "Will you follow your father's foot steps as he requested ?"
And her simple answer was, "l now adore the man, I have a big picture of him in my living room and at the entrance of my house. He deserves whatever I have after God".
Are you like Tom Smith..?
It pays to build a name, the reward doesn't come quickly but it will come however long it may take and it lasts longer..
Integrity, discipline, self control and fear of God makes a man wealthy, not the fat bank account..
Leave a good heritage for your children..
As an agent of CHANGE, please share this true life story with your loved ones..
God bless us all..```
One more from my WhatsApp friend ....
I am encouraged by this.. .
Few months ago, i walked into an exotic restaurant to have lunch. Immediately i settled down, i hurriedly placed my order ...I just couldn't wait to eat a sumptuous meal. But things didn't go the way I'd expected it, something else happened.
After almost about 20mins of waiting for my order, 3 guys walked in to have lunch and of course placed their orders. Amazingly, almost immediately, they were served while I was still waiting for my order.
This got me a little angry and then i beckoned on the lady who took my order to inquire why I haven't been served and why the other guys who just walked in already got their foods.
Then the lady said to me politely, "Sir You Made A Very Special Order And It'll Take Time To beautifully Prepare It For You; the other guys just ordered for snacks!"
Hmmm.... that got me thinking. And that's the word for you today. I learnt a very profound lesson that day.
Sometimes in life, when you look around and see all of your friends (even junior friends) having all the good things of life and it just seems you are the only one still waiting (struggling), you feel angry and depressed. But, here's the truth; You ordered a special kind of food, not just snacks/junks.
So I want to encourage you, your order may seem delayed, friends may seem to be enjoying their meal (life) while you are still waiting, I want you to know that God (the master chef) is taking His time to prepare a special delicacy for you and when you are finally served, it's gonna be so sumptuous.
Here's my word for you; Wait just a little longer, Your MEAL is almost ready!
๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿ‘‰ RESPECT is a ↔ TWO WAY STREET ↔
A young officer was on his round when one of the riflemen did not notice him and missed saluting him.
The youngster got cheesed off and summoned the Gorkha and asked him the reason for not saluting him. The Gorkha innocently gave out the reason that he did not see "Lieutenant Huzoor".
The youngster not convinced, punished the Gorkha to a thousand salutes. The soldier immediately started saluting...
Field Marshal Sam  Manekshaw  who was passing by and asked the youngster as to what was happening.
The youngster said, "Sir, this soldier had the audacity of not saluting me. So I have punished him with 1000 salutes."
Sam replied, "Bloody good punishment young man, but ensure that you return each of his salutes.”
For the next two hours the unit was treated to a scene of a Gorkha saluting and the young officer returning each of his salutes.
#Attitude Makes Difference
This story is about a person working with a freezer plant.
It was almost the day end. Everyone had packed up to check out.
A technical snag developed in the plant and he went to check.
By the time he finished it was late. The doors were sealed and the lights were off.
Trapped inside the ice plant for the night without air and light, an icy grave was almost sure for him.
Hours passed thus. Suddenly he found someone opening the door.
Was it a miracle?
The security guard entered there with a torch and helped him to come out.
On the way back the person asked the security guard, “How did you know that I was inside? Who informed you?” the guard said, “No one sir; this unit has about 50 people. But you are the only one who says Hello to me in the morning and Bye in the evening.
You had reported in morning. But did not go out. That made me suspicious.”
He never knew a small gesture of greeting someone would prove to be a lifesaver for him.
You never know - it may work a miracle in your life too.
*Education is not a degree or certificate that can be shown to others as proof. It is our attitude, actions, language and behaviour with others in real life*
An excellent message !!
Once a group of 50 people was attending a seminar....
Suddenly the speaker stopped and started giving each person a balloon....
Each one was asked to write his/her name on it using a marker pen....
Then all the balloons were collected and put in another room....
Now these delegates were let in that room and asked to find the balloon which had their name written, within 5 minutes.....
Everyone was frantically searching for their name, pushing, colliding with each other, and there was utter chaos.....
At the end of 5 minutes, no one could find their own balloon......
Now, each one was asked to randomly collect a balloon and give it to the person whose name was written on it.....
Within minutes everyone had their own balloon....
The speaker began:
"This is exactly happening in our lives....
Everyone is frantically looking for happiness all around, not knowing where it is....
Our happiness lies in the happiness of other people....
Give them their happiness, you will get your own happiness....."
Good Morning, Happy Week Ahead 😊👍
#Karna
Arjuna once asked Krishna, " Lord, why do people consider Karna more generous than Yudhistara? Neither have ever refused whatever has been asked for nor whoever has asked. So why is Karna considered greater than Yudhistara?"
The Lord said with a smile, "Come, I'll show you why."
Disguised as brahmins, they first went to Yudhishtira's court and asked for sandalwood sticks to conduct 'yagna'. The king immediately sent his soldiers to all parts of his Kingdom in search of sandalwood sticks. It was monsoon, the trees were all drenched and the soldiers returned with wet sandalwood pieces. Yagna was not possible with the wet sticks.
Krishna and Arjuna proceeded to Karna's court next and asked for the same sticks. Karna thought for a while and said " as it's raining for several days now, it will be impossible to collect dry sandalwood sticks. But there is a way. Please wait for a while."
Saying this, Karna proceeded to chop and cut down the doors and windows of the court which were made of sandalwood and after making them into pieces, gifted the dry sandalwood sticks to the brahmins to conduct 'yagna'.
They accepted the offerings and went back. On their way back, Krishna asked Arjuna "do you realise the difference between the two, Arjuna? Had we asked Yudhishtira to give his doors and windows for us to conduct yagna, he would have given us without a second thought. But he did not think of it himself. We did not ask Karna either. Yudhishtira gave because that was his dharma. Karna gave because he loves to give. This is the difference between the two and that is why Karna is considered greater. Whatever work you do becomes nobler when you do it with love."
We can work with different attitudes. Someone asked you to, or as a duty or as your dharma or as Karna did, out of love for doing the job. The last said is however, the best; whatever work you do, love it, enjoy the work.
#Mythology makes #sense... message shared by #Vilas Deshpande kaka through #whatsapp
"Mom, I am a genetic scientist. I am working in the US on the evolution of man. Theory of evolution, Charles Darwin, have you heard of him? " Vasu asked.
His Mother sat down next to him and smiled, "I know Darwin, Vasu. I also know that what you think he discovered is old news in India."
" Yeah sure Mom!" Vasu said with sarcasm.
"Well if you are too smart then listen to this, " his Mother countered." Have you heard of Dashavatar? The ten avatars of Vishnu?" Vasu nodded.
"Then let me tell you what you and Mr. Darwin don't know. Listen carefully- The first avatar was the Matsya avatar, it means the fish. That is because life began in the water. Is that not right?" Vasu began to listen with a little more attention.
"Then came the Kurma Avatar, which means the tortoise, because life moved from the water to the land. The amphibian. So the Tortoise denoted the evolution from sea to land.
Third was the Varaha, the wild boar, which meant the wild animals with not much intellect, you call them the Dinosaurs, correct? " Vasu nodded wide eyed.
"The fourth avatar was the Narasimha avatar, half man and half animal, the evolution from wild animals to intelligent beings.
Fifth the Waman avatar, the midget or dwarf, who could grow really tall. Do you know why that is? Cause there were two kinds of humans, Homo Erectus and the Homo Sapiens and Homo Sapiens won that battle." Vasu could see that his Mother was in full flow and he was stupefied.
"The Sixth avatar was Parshuram, the man who wielded the axe, the man who was a cave and forest dweller. Angry, and not social.
The seventh avatar  was Ram, the first thinking social being, who laid out the laws of society and the basis of all relationships.
The eight avatar was Krishna, the statesman, the politician, the lover who played the game of society and taught how to live and thrive in the social structure.
The Ninth avatar, the Buddha, the man who rose from Narasimha and found man's true nature. The nature of Buddha, he identified man's final quest of enlightenment.
And finally, my boy, will come Kalki, the man you are working on. The man who will be genetically supreme."
Vasu looked at his Mother speechless. "This is amazing Mom, how did you.. This makes sense!"
"Yes it does Vasu! We Indians knew some amazing things just didnt know how to pass it on scientifically. So made them into mythological stories.
Mythology makes sense. Its just the way you look at it - Religious or Scientific. Your call.
We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give... Winston Churchill
Once there was a poor Scottish farmer, His name was Fleming.
One day, while trying to make a living for his family, he heard a cry for help coming from a nearby bog.
He dropped his tools and ran to the bog.
There, mired to his waist in black muck, was a terrified boy, screaming and struggling to free himself.
Farmer Fleming saved the lad from what could have been a slow and terrifying death.
The next day, a fancy carriage pulled up to the Scotsman's sparse surroundings.
An elegantly dressed nobleman stepped out and introduced himself as the father of the boy Farmer Fleming had saved.
'I want to repay you,' said the nobleman. 'You saved my son's life.'
'No, I can't accept payment for what I did,' the Scottish farmer replied waving off the offer.
At that moment, the farmer's own son came to the door of the family hovel.
'Is that your son?' the nobleman asked.
'Yes,' the farmer replied proudly.
'I'll make you a deal.
Let me provide him with the level of education my own son will enjoy If the lad is anything like his father,
he'll no doubt grow to be a man we both will be proud of.' And that he did.
Farmer Fleming's son attended the very best schools and in time, graduated from St. Mary's Hospital Medical School in London,
and went on to become known throughout the world as the noted Sir Alexander Fleming, the discoverer of Penicillin.
Years afterward, the same nobleman's son who was saved from the bog was stricken with pneumonia.
What saved his life this time? Penicillin.
The name of the nobleman?
Lord Randolph Churchill ..
His son's name?
Sir Winston Churchill.
Message #Shared by Mr. #Arjun Lal
Can u judge who is the better person out of these 3 ?
Mr A - He had frienship with bad politicians, consults astrologers, two wives, chain smoker, drinks eight to 10 times a day.
Mr B - He was kicked out of office twice, sleeps till noon, used opium in college & drinks whiskey every evening.
Mr C - He is a decorated war hero,a vegetarian, doesn't smoke , doesn't drink  and never cheated on his wife.
You would want Mr.C rite.
But..
Mr. A was #Franklin Roosevelt!
Mr. B was #Winston Churchill!!
Mr C Was #ADOLF HITLER!!!
Strange but true..
Its risky to judge anyone by his habits !
Character is a complex phenomenon.
So every person in ur life is important ,don't judge them ,accept them.
👌 Three beautiful thoughts
1. None can destroy iron, but its own rust can!
Likewise, none can destroy a person, but his own mindset can.
2. Ups and downs in life are very important to keep us going, because a straight line even in an E.C.G. means we are not alive.
3. The same Boiling Water that hardens the egg, Will Soften the Potato!
It depends upon Individual's reaction To stressful circumstances!
Beautiful saying ---
Mobile has taught us three things ....
Whatever makes you happy  -- save it.....
Whatever makes others happy -- forward it.....
Whatever will make no one happy -- Delete it....
Ratan Tata... a gem of a person
TATA Rules the Heart of People:
There is a blood bank inside the Tata Motors premises in Jamshedpur (there are blood banks in other plants as well). This rule also applied in Tatasteel too.If you donate a bottle of blood, not only you are given off for that day, but you can also avail an extra leave within 7 days of donating the blood. Employees use it to extend their holidays. So, there is no shortage of leaves ever!! Needless to say, Tata loses several man-hours through this policy.
Once while having a conversation with the employees of the company, Ratan Tata was asked a question (by a senior official), "People take undue advantage of the policy. We lose several man-hours due to this. The blood is replenished within 24 hours, you know. Why to give that extra holiday within 7 days of donating blood."
Ratan Tata smiled. He always does. And then came a calm reply. "Encouragement is something I don't need to teach you. Only a few people donate because they want to. Talking about man-hours, we may be losing some man-hours doing that, but have you ever thought of the number of man-hours that get added to the person's life who receives that blood in the time of necessity? I am ready to sacrifice some of our man-hours for the better good of humanity."
A gem, a true gem of a person.
Concept of Yugas.... message shared by Mr. Kunal Mate
There are four yugas widely accepted in Hinduism. They are :
1. Satya yug
2. Treta yug (Ramayana)
3. Dwapara yug(Mahabharata)
4. Kal yug(Present)
In Satya yug, the fight was between two worlds (Devalok & Asuralok). Asuralok being the evil, was a different WORLD.
In Treta yug, the fight was between Rama and Ravana. Both rulers from two different COUNTRIES.
In Dwapara yug, the fight was between Pandavas and Kauravas. Both good and evil from the SAME FAMILY.
Kindly note how the evil is getting closer. For example, from a DIFFERENT WORLD to a DIFFERENT COUNTRY to the SAME FAMILY.
Now, know where is the evil in Kaliyug???
It is inside us. Both GOOD AND EVIL LIVE WITHIN. The battle is within us. Who will we give victory to, our inner goodness or the evil within??
Think, identify and fight.
India vs Bangladesh : 23rd March 2016
That freaking last over was a neat set of  life lessions. Here is how:
Bangladesh needs 12 runs in last over. Over a billion people are on edge with their ------ on cusp of dispair or joy.
1.  Pandya goes for 2  fours in first 3 balls. At this point game is over for India. But Pandya still keeps his head to ball some what sensibly for last 3 balls.
  Life Lession 1- It is never lost untill you lose it. Even if defeat is  staring at your face.
2 . Mushfiqur hits second four in last over and punches in air. Just 2 runs needed  in 3 balls. So they have won he thinks. The Bangla dugout stands clapping. Wrong assumption.
Life Lession 2- Never  count your chickens untill they are hatched. Really hatched.
3. Two runs needed in last ball. A billion people watching are trembling with nerves. Dhoni remains  cool showing no emotion. In the melee of last ball when bilion minds have raced to confusion, he has sense to not throw the ball and run the batsman out. He knows he has won , yet he doesnt jump into air or punches his fist.
Life Lession 3- Equanimity and dispassion is key to master one's mind.  No excessive joy in good time and no excessive sorrow in unfavorable times is how one should live.
4. One freak hit and  Bangladesh could have won. One run in last over and it could have been a tie. Anything was possible like a random chance at toss of dice.
Life Lession 4: There is an overall seeming randomness in life. In end you lose some and you win some by an unknown roll of dice.🇮🇳
Carrying tomatoes - ?...Shared by Mrs. Jayashree Bhake
A teacher asked her students to bring some tomatoes in a plastic bag to school.
Each tomato was to be given the name of a person whom that child hates.
So, the number of tomatoes would be equal to the number of persons they hate.
On a pre-determined day, the children brought their tomatoes well addressed.
Some had two, some had three and some had five, some even had 20 tomatoes in accordance with the number of people they hated.
The teacher then told them they had to carry the tomatoes with them everywhere they go for two weeks.
As the days passed the children started to complain about the decay and smell of the tomatoes.
The students who had many tomatoes complained it was very heavy to carry and the smell was too much.
After a week, the teacher asked the students “How did you feel this week?”
The children complained of the awful smell and heavy weight of the tomatoes, especially those who carried several tomatoes.
The teacher said, “This is very similar to what you carry in your heart when you don’t like some people.
Hatred makes the heart unhealthy and you carry that hatred everywhere. If you can’t bear the smell of spoilt tomatoes for a week, imagine the impact of bitterness on your heart as you carry it daily.”
The heart is a beautiful garden that needs regular cleaning of unwanted weeds.
Forgive those who have angered you. This makes room for storing good things.
Get Better, Not Bitter!!
Ant and Grasshopper ,, shared on whatsapp by Mrs. Sheetal Aloni
Ant and Grasshopper - Indian Version of story - too good and fact
laying up supplies for the winter. The Grasshopper thinks the Ant is a fool
and laughs dances plays the summer away. Come winter, the Ant is warm and well fed. The Grasshopper has no food or shelter so he dies out in the cold.
       ..........................
Indian Version:
The Ant works hard in the withering heat all summer building its house and
laying up supplies for the winter. The Grasshopper thinks the Ant's a fool and laughs dances plays the summer away.
Come winter, the shivering Grasshopper calls a press conference and demands
to know why the Ant should be allowed to be warm and well fed while others are cold and starving.
NDTV, Times Now, CNN IBN, BBC, CNN , Asianet show up to provide pictures of the shivering Grasshopper
next to a video of the Ant in his comfortable home with a table filled with food.
The World is stunned by the sharp contrast.
How can this be that this poor Grasshopper is allowed to suffer so?
Arundhati Roy stages a demonstration in front of the Ant's house.
Medha Patkar goes on a fast along with other Grasshoppers demanding that Grasshoppers be relocated to warmer climates during winter .
Mayawati states this as 'injustice' done on Minorities.
The Internet is flooded with online petitions seeking support to the Grasshopper
CPM in Kerala immediately passes a law preventing Ants from working hard in the heat so as to bring about equality of poverty among Ants and
Grasshoppers.
Railway minister allocates one free coach to Grasshoppers on all Indian Railway Trains, aptly named as the 'Grasshopper Rath'.
Finally, the Judicial Committee drafts the 'Prevention of Terrorism Against Grasshoppers Act'[POTAGA] , with effect from the beginning of the winter..
Education minister makes 'Special Reservation' for Grasshoppers in Educational
Institutions in Government Services.
The Ant is fined for failing to comply with POTAGA and having nothing left to pay his retroactive taxes, it's home is confiscated by Government
and handed over to the Grasshopper in a ceremony covered by NDTV, Times Now, CNN IBN, BBC, CNN.
Arundhati Roy calls it 'A Triumph of Justice'.
Railway minister calls it 'Socialistic Justice'.
CPM calls it 'Revolutionary Resurgence of Downtrodden'
.
.
.
.
Many years later...
The Ant has since migrated to the US and set up a multi-billion dollar company in Silicon Valley ,
100s of Grasshoppers still die of starvation despite reservation somewhere in India ,
....AND
As a result of losing lot of hard working Ants and feeding the grasshoppers, India is still a developing country...!!
Story from Chennai
👍
A story in one of the schools in Chennai where admission is considered impossible!!!
To get UKG admission for my friend's daughter I too went there. For that admission my friend had studied a lot than his daughter ...!
The child could not understand why they brought her there..
When we all were standing, the school principal started to converse with the child....yes...in English only! This is one of the most memorable interview I have ever witnessed in my life..
Here goes..
"What's your name?"
"Sarithra"
"Good. Tell me something you know"
"I know many things. Tell me what you want...!"
Alas, there is no better point for not getting the admission!
Sarithra's mother was trying to make up the situation but the principal stopped her..
Turning to child, she said.. "Tell any rhyme or story which you know.."
Again,"Which one you want.. Rhyme or Story!?"
"Ok. Plz tell me a story.."
"Do uou want to hear what I studied or what I wrote..!?"
Taken to surprise, she asked "Oh! you write stories...???"
"Why should I not write..?"
Now even I was taken aback But she was impressed with the answer. She ( including us) would have not heard such a story in our life...
Ok, tell me story which you have written-?
Sarithra said "Ravanan kidnapped Sita & took her to Srilanka"
The opening scene failed to impress but still she encouraged the child to continue..
"Rama asked Hanumans help to rescue Sita. Hanuman too agreed to help Rama ..."
"Then?"
"Now, Hanuman called his friend Spider man." No one expected this twist in the story!!
"Why?"
"Because there are lot of mountains between India and Srilanka.. but if we have Spiderman we can go easily with his rope..."
"But Hanuman can fly isn't it.. ?"
"Yes. But he is having Sanjeevi Mountain on one hand so he cannot fly very fast.!"
All is quiet, after a while Sarithra asked "Should I continue or not?.".
"Ok plz continue!"
"Hanuman and Spiderman flew to Srilanka and rescued Sita. Sita said Thanks to both!"
"Why"
"When you are helped you should say Thanks!" So "Hanuman is now called Hulk..."
All were surprised.She realized our curiosity and said " Now Sita is there, so to take her safely back to Rama she called Hulk"
"What??? "Hanuman can carry Sita right?"
"Yes. But he has Sanjeevi Mountain in one hand and has to hold spider man on the other"
No one could control thier smiles. " So when they all started to India they met my friend Akshay! "
"How come Akshay there now?"
"Because its my story and I can bring any one there!"
The principal didn't get angry but waited for the next twist
Then all started to India and landed at Chennai Velechery bus stop!
Now I asked,"Why they have landed In Velechery bus stop?
"Because they forgot the way..& Hulk got an idea and called Dora!"
I came to know about Dora only there...!
"Dora came and she took Sita to Velechery Venus Colony...that's all!"
She finished the story with a smile.. 😀
The principal asks "Why venus Colony...?"
"Because sita is there & iam Sita!!!"
The principal was impressed and embraced the child. She has been admitted in UKG & was gifted with a Dora doll...
😂😂😂
Kids can really amaze... but we clip their wings (creativity) expecting them to do things as we see it right & not from their viewpoint..
Let's give every child freedom to do their own thing & watch their dreams come true..
Self Appraisal... Message shared on Whatsapp by Mr. Amit Gandhare
A Little boy went to a telephone booth which was at the cash counter of a store and dialed a number.
The store-owner observed and listened to the conversation:
Boy: “Madam, can you give me the job of cutting your lawn?”
Woman: (at the other end of the phone line) “I already have someone to cut my lawn.”
Boy: “Madam, I will cut your lawn for half the price than the person who cuts your lawn now.”
Woman: “I’m very much satisfied with the person who is presently cutting the lawn.”
Boy: (with more perseverance) “Madam, I’ll even sweep the floor and the stairs of your house for free.”
Woman: “No, thank you.”
With a smile on his face, the little boy put the receiver down.
The store-owner, who was listening to all this, walked over to the boy.
Store-owner: “Son... I like your attitude; I like that positive spirit and would like to offer you a job.”
Boy: “No thanks.”
Store-owner: “But you were really pleading for one.”
Boy: “No Sir, I was just checking my performance at the job I already have. I am the one who is working for that lady I was talking to!”
This is called "Self-Appraisal”
Sweetness of Sour Oranges :
He often bought oranges from an old lady.
After they were weighed, paid for and put in his bag, he would always pick one from his bag, peel it, put a segment in his mouth, complain it's sour and pass on the orange to the seller.
The old lady would put one segment in her mouth and retort, "why, it's sweet," but by then he was gone with his bag.
His wife, always with him, asked, "the oranges are always sweet, then why this drama every time?"
He smiled, "the old mother sells sweet oranges but never eats them herself. This way I get her to eat one, without losing her money. That's all."
The vegetable seller next to the old lady, saw this everyday.
She chided, "every time this man fusses over your oranges, and I see that you always weigh a few extra for him. Why?"
The old lady smiled, "I know he does this to feed me an orange m, only, he thinks I don't understand. I never weigh extra. His love tilts the scale slightly every time."
Life's joys are in these sweet little gestures of love and respect for our fellow beings. And in giving, not usurping. Not in money.....
LIVE LIFE BEFORE YOU LEAVE LIFE..
A woman sat down next to a man on a bench near a playground at West Coast park
one fine Sunday Morning.
"That's my son over there" she said, pointing to a little boy in a red T-shirt
who was gliding down the slide.
"He's a fine looking boy," the man said. "That's my son on the swing in the blue
T-shirt."
Then, looking at his watch, he called to his son.
"What do you say we go, Jack?"
Jack pleaded, "Just five more minutes, Dad. Please? Just five more minutes."
The man nodded and Jack continued to swing to his heart's content.
Minutes passed and the father stood and called again to his son. "Time to go now?"
Again Jack pleaded, "Five more minutes, Dad. Just five more minutes."
The man smiled and said, "O.K."
"My! You certainly are a patient father," the woman responded.
The man smiled and then said, "My older son John was killed by a drunk driver
last year, while he was riding his bike near here. I never spent much time with
John and now I'd give anything for just five more minutes with him. I've vowed
not to make the same mistake with Jack. He thinks he has five more minutes to
swing. The truth is, I get Five more minutes to watch him play."
Life is not a race.
Life is all about making Priorities.
What are your priorities?
Give someone you love, FIVE more minutes of your time, no matter how busy you
are and you will have no regret forever.
Once you have lost it, it shall be lost FOREVER....
Life can only be understood backwards; But it must be Lived forwards.
Convert your negative thoughts to positive thoughts.
A writer picked up a pen and wrote:
Last year, i had a surgery and my gall bladder was removed. I was stucked to the bed for a long time.
The same year i reached the age of 60 and had to give up my favourite publishing job, where i had spent 30 years of my life.
The same year i experienced the sorrow of the death of my father.
In the same year my son.failed in the medical.exam, because he met with a car accident and had to stay in the cast for several days. The distruction of car was another loss.
At the end he wrote : alas! It was such a bad year!!
When the writer's wife entered the room, found her husband looking sad and lost in.his thoughts.
From.behind she read what was written on the paper. She left the room silently and came back with another paper and placed it on the side of her husband's  writing.
When the writer saw this paper he found his name on the paper along with following lines.
Last year i finally got rid of my gall bladder due to which i had spents years in pain....
I turned 60 with sound health and got retired from my job. Now i can utilize my time to write something better with focus and peace....
The same year my father at the afe of 95 without depending on any one or without any critical condition met his creator.....
The same year, god blessed my son with a new life. My car was destroyed but son stayed alive without getting any disability....
Such encouraging  and beautiful.interpretation of the happenings in his life that year made the writer happy and amazed.
It is not happiness that makes us grateful but gratefulness that makes us happy.....
Story shared by Mr. Akash Gautam on Whatsapp
You'll love this story. I just soooo louuuuved it :)
"Once upon a time in a faraway land, there lived a Chinese wise man and his disciple. One day in their travels, they saw a hut in the distance. As they approached they realized that it was occupied in spite of its extremely poor appearance.
In that desolate place where there were no crops and no trees,
a man lived with his wife, three young children and a thin, tired cow. Since they were hungry and thirsty, the wise man and his disciple stopped for a few hours and were well received.
At one point, the wise man asked:
“This is a very poor place, far away from anything. How do you survive?”
“You see that cow? That’s what keeps us going,” said the head of the family. “She gives us milk, some of it we drink and some were make into cheese. When there is extra, we go into the city and exchange the milk and cheese for other types of food. That’s how we survive.”
The wise man thanked them for their hospitality and left. When he reached the first bend in the road, he said to his disciple:
“Go back, get the cow, take her to the cliff in front of us, and push her off.”
The disciple could not believe what he was hearing.
“I cannot do that, master! How can you be so ungrateful? The cow is all they have. If I throw it on the cliff, they’ll have no way to survive. Without the cow, they’ll all die!”
The wise man, an elderly Chinese man, took a deep breath and repeated the order: “Go ahead. Push the cow off the cliff.”
Though outraged at what he was being asked to do, the student was resigned to obey his master.
He returned to the hut and quietly led the animal to the edge of the cliff and pushed. The cow fell down the cliff and died.
As the years passed by, remorse for what he had done never left the disciple. One spring day, the guilt became too much to bear and he left the wise man and returned to that little shack. He wanted to find out what had happened to that family, to help them out, apologize, or somehow make amends.
Upon rounding a turn in the road, he could not believe what his eyes were showing him. In place of the poor shack there was a beautiful house with trees all
around, a swimming pool, several cars in the garage, a satellite dish, and on and on.
Three good-looking teenagers and their parents were celebrating their first million dollars.
The heart of the disciple froze. What could have happened to the family? Without a doubt, they must have been starving to death and forced to sell their land and leave. At that moment, the student thought they must all be begging on the street corners of some city. He approached the house and asked a man that was passing by about the whereabouts of the family that had lived
there several years before.
“You’re looking at it,” said the man, pointing to the people gathered around the barbecue.
Unable to believe what he was hearing, the disciple walked through the gate and took a few steps closer to the pool where he recognized the man from several
years before, only now he was strong and confident, the woman was happy, and the children were now nice-looking teenagers.
He was dumbfounded, and went over to the man and asked:
“What happened? I was here with my teacher a few years ago and this was a miserable place.
There was nothing. What did you do to improve your lives in such a short time?”
The man looked at the disciple, and replied with a smile:
“We had a cow that kept us alive. She was all we had. But one day she fell down the cliff and died. To survive, we had to start doing other things, develop skills we didn’t even know we had.
And so, because we were forced to come up with new ways of doing things, we are now much better off than before.”
Moral of the story: Sometimes our dependency on something small and limited is the biggest obstacle to our growth. Perhaps the best thing that could happen to you is to push your “cow” down the cliff. Once you free yourself of the thought “it’s little but it’s certain,”  — then your life will really change.
Is there a cow ( a person , idea, mental block or mind set ) in your life that is keeping you miserable?
Throw it off the cliff!
CHINESE ADVICE TO 50-YEARS & 50 PLUS YEARS OLDER
Because none of us have many years to live, and we can't take along anything when we go, so we don't have to be too thrifty.
Spend the money that should be spent, enjoy what should be enjoyed, donate what you are able to donate, but don't leave all to your children or grandchildren, for you don't want them to become parasites who are waiting for the day you will die!!
DON'T WORRY about what will happen after we are gone, because when we return to dust, we will feel nothing about praises or criticisms. The time to enjoy the worldly life and your hard earned wealth will be over!
DON'T WORRY too much about your children, for children will have their own destiny and should find their own way. Don't be your children's slave. Care for them, love them, give them gifts but also enjoy your money while you can. Life should have more to it than working from the cradle to the grave!!
DON'T EXPECT too much from your children. Caring children, though caring, would be too busy with their jobs and commitments to render much help.
Uncaring children may fight over your assets even when you are still alive, and wish for your early demise so they can inherit your properties and wealth.
Your children take for granted that they are rightful heirs to your wealth; but that you have no claims to their money.
50-year olds, don't trade in - your health for wealth, by working yourself to an early grave anymore. Because your money may not be able to buy your health.
When to stop making money, and how much is enough  ?
(A HUNDRED thousand, One million, ten million,One billion )?
Out  of thousand hectares of good farm land, you can consume only three quarts (of rice) daily; out of a thousand mansions, you only need eight square meters of  space to rest at night.
So, as long as you have enough food and enough money to spend, that is good enough. You should live happily.
Every family has its own problems.
Just DO NOT COMPARE  with others for fame and social status and see whose children are doing better etc., but challenge others for happiness, health, enjoyment, quality of  life and longevity.
DON'T WORRY about things that you can't change because it doesn't help and it may spoil your health.
You have to create your own well-being and find your own place of happiness.
As long  as you are in good mood and good health, think about happy things, do happy things daily and have fun in doing, then you will pass your time happily every day.
One day passes WITHOUT happiness, you will lose one day.
One day passes WITH happiness and then you gain one day.
In good spirit, sickness will cure;
In a happy spirit, sickness will cure faster;
in high and happy spirits, sickness will never come.
With good mood, suitable amount of exercise, always in the sun, variety of foods, reasonable amount of vitamin and mineral intake, hopefully you will live another 20 or 30 years of  healthy life of pleasure.
-   ABOVE ALL -  Learn to cherish the goodness around.
.. and FRIENDS........... They all make you feel young and "wanted"... without them you are surely to feel lost !!
Wishing you all the best for the years to come.
Please share this with all your friends who are 50 plus and those who will be 50 plus  after some time and also with your children.
